What each plan looks like for a mover

These are typical fits, not fixed bundles. The exact scope for your company is written into your proposal.

Growth suits a local mover with a few trucks that wants steady enquiries. A common focus is local search, a quote path that works by phone, text and email, and a review routine.

Elite suits a mover running several channels at once: search, Google Ads by move type, and a website rebuild, where the 50% website discount does real work.

Enterprise suits multi-city operators or companies with a serious long-distance and commercial push, where a dedicated team and a full website build make sense.

What drives the cost of moving company marketing

Four things push a mover's marketing budget up or down:

  1. How many markets you serve. One city with suburbs is simpler than three cities plus routes between them.
  2. How competitive those markets are. Large metro areas need more pages, more review volume and usually more ad spend.
  3. Whether you need a new website. A sound site can be improved; a broken one usually needs a rebuild.
  4. Ad spend. Paid to Google, separate from the plan fee, and set by how many extra moves you can actually serve.

How to work out what you can afford

Start with what a booked move is worth, then work backwards. Here's a worked example you can redo with your own numbers.

  • Average local move: $1,500
  • Gross margin after crew, fuel and truck costs: say 35%, or $525 per move
  • Growth plan billed annually: $1,499/month, plus GST/HST

At $525 margin per move, about 3 extra booked moves a month covers the plan fee on annual billing. If your quote-to-booking rate is 30%, that's roughly 10 extra quoted enquiries, or a modest lift in how many existing enquiries you book. Our quote-to-booking guide shows how to measure that lift.

If the maths only works with a big jump in bookings, choose a smaller scope first. We'd rather tell you that in the first conversation.

How to choose

  • Pick the plan that fits your biggest leak, not your ambitions. If enquiries are fine but bookings are weak, a smaller plan focused on conversion beats a bigger one focused on traffic.
  • Annual billing saves money, but only commit when you're confident in the fit. Month-to-month is there for a reason.
  • Ask for the scope in writing. What's included, what's billed separately and how reporting works should all be in the proposal.

A plan fee is easiest to judge against your own numbers, so bring them to the first conversation.

For anything not listed here, such as how ad spend is invoiced, we confirm it in writing in your proposal. See the FAQ for common questions, or contact us to talk it through.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Every plan runs month to month, and 30 days' notice ends it. Choosing annual billing is up to you; it simply lowers the monthly figure.

Is Google Ads spend included?

Ad spend is paid to Google and sits outside the plan fee. How spend and management are handled for your account is written into your proposal before you agree to anything.

Do Canadian clients pay sales tax?

Yes. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and movers add their province's GST or HST, or GST and QST in Quebec.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. There's a free 30-minute initial consultation for eligible trades businesses, separate from any paid plan. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.

Which plan suits a two-truck local mover?

Usually Growth, focused on local search, a quote-ready website and reviews. Bigger multi-channel programmes belong on Elite or Enterprise.
