Remember that we're a marketing service for movers, not a moving company. If you need a move booked, please contact a mover directly; we can't quote or schedule moves.

What to include in your first message

You don't need all of this, but each item makes the first conversation more useful.

1. Your company and where you work. Business name, home city, and the areas or routes you serve.
2. Your fleet and crews. Number of trucks and roughly how many crews you can run on a normal day.
3. The work you want more of. Local residential, long-distance, commercial, or small moves and labour.
4. Your current numbers. Rough enquiries per month and how many become booked moves.
5. Your calendar pattern. Which days or weeks are usually full, and which are usually empty.
6. What you've tried. Past agencies, lead services, ads or directories, and what happened.

A template you can copy

Hi, this is [Your name] from [Business name] in [City]. We run [number] trucks doing mostly [local / long-distance / commercial] moves. We get about [number] enquiries a month and book about [number]. Our slow days are usually [days or weeks]. I'd like to talk about [what you want to fix].

What happens next

1. A reply to arrange a time. We usually reply within one business day, and we'll suggest a slot that avoids your busiest hours.
2. First conversation (about 30 minutes). We ask about your calendar, job values and current marketing. The initial consultation is free for eligible trades businesses.
3. A written recommendation. If marketing makes sense, you get a plan with scope, price and how results will be measured. If it doesn't, we say so.
4. Your decision. Plans are month-to-month with 30 days' notice to cancel. Nothing starts until you agree in writing.

Before you call: a five-minute self-check

If you'd like to arrive with a sharper question, run this quick check on your own business:

• Search "movers [your city]" on your phone. Do you appear on the map? Are your photos your own?
• Call your own business line at 10 a.m. on a weekday. Does someone answer?
• Look at your latest five reviews. Are they recent, and did you reply?
• Open your website on a phone. Can you request an estimate in under a minute by call, text or email?

Each "no" points to a specific service: local search, quote-to-booking or reviews.

If you've worked with an agency before

Tell us what happened. Knowing what didn't work, and what was measured, saves time and helps us avoid repeating it. If you still have old reports or access to past ad accounts, mention that too; the history in those accounts is often useful.
